Microsoft said many times over that they want to release Windows 8 as soon as possible. They have to .. Google is catching up with their Chrome OS, so you can expect Windows 8 in late 2011 or at least 2012. 2013 is VERY unlikely, unless their development is still very slow and they need to address a lot of problems.
