Do you believe Windows 8 will be a success?
If you look at the successful Windows editions, you might see a pattern:
Windows 98 = good
Windows ME = oh my god
Windows XP = good
Windows Vista = oh my god
Windows 7 = good
Windows 8 = ???
Windows 8 is probably gonna be like one of those “oh my god”. Why? Because Microsoft is not being “user friendly” (for many of their users) with the Metro UI. Some people don’t have time or will to learn how to use it. I’m not one of those people, I like to keep miself updated, but when looking to other people… it seems like Microsoft will lose users (or at least some users won’t want to be users anymore).
