Why Should You Uninstall a Program
Since Windows 8 is the latest operating system released by Microsoft there might be times when, as a user, you could install several applications that you normally use in your day-to-day life. Moreover, since Windows 8 is the latest operating system, it is expected that you would install many other applications which you have never used before. You might want to do this to check the compatibility of installed applications with the latest version of the operating system released by Microsoft. As a home user it sounds quite a fun that you are installing new applications on the new operating system but sometimes, when you do not find the applications compatible, it becomes necessary for you to uninstall them in order to preserve hard disk space and reduce some load from the operating system as well. Therefore, if as a Windows 8 user you want to uninstall an application from the operating system you are required to follow the steps provided below:
1 Logon to Windows 8 computer with administrator privileges.
2 Click on Start button and from the available options click on Control Panel.
3 On the opened Window in the left pane click on More Settings.
4 On the opened new Window click on Programs and Features icon.
5 On Uninstall or change a program Window click on the name of the application that you want to uninstall and click on Uninstall button to start uninstallation process.
6 Restart your computer if necessary.
