Why Locking Keyboard is Necessary?

Laptop PCs or desktop computers are nowadays used almost everywhere. No matter if a person is an individual who is studying or a married family man with kids, everyone uses computer. If a person is a family man the biggest challenge he faces while using computer is that his kids keep on disturbing him by pressing several keys on the keyboard which many times might corrupt the operating system or damage sensitive information at all.

In order to eliminate these problems many times such users may want to lock their keyboards so that the information and the entire operating system can become invincible.

As a Windows 8 user if you want to lock your keyboard you are required to download and install Toddler Keys, which is a freeware tool and is easily available on the internet, and once this is done you need to follow the steps given below:

1 Logon to Windows 8 computer on which you want to lock the keyboard.

2 From the options available on the screen click on Desktop icon.
Click on Desktop Icon

3 Download and install Toddler Keys.

4 Once downloaded and installed, right click on its icon available in the system tray at the bottom right corner of the computer screen.

5 From the available context menu click on Lock Keyboard.
Click on Lock Keyboard (to check)

6 To unlock your keyboard repeat steps 3 and 4. (These steps work as toggle to lock and unlock the keyboard).
Click on Lock Keyboard (to uncheck)
