How to Generate a Battery Usage Report in Windows 8

Battery Usage Report in Windows 8 provides you with a complete snapshot of battery timings, performance, health, life and usage about the battery. It is a great way to see how your battery has performed. If you want to generate a battery report in Windows 8, here is how to do it:

1. Open up command prompt. Open Run, type in cmd and press Enter

Type cmd in Run and press Enter

2. Type in the following command:

powercfg /batteryreport /output %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\battery_report.html

This would execute battery report and save the file on your desktop

3. When you open up the battery_report.html file, it would provide you with complete information about the battery including usage statistics, recent stats, installed batteries, and much more. Here is a screenshot of it:
