What is SkyDrive?
SkyDrive (formerly Windows Live SkyDrive) is a secure file hosting service by Microsoft. It allows you to upload and sync files to cloud storage from your PC or smart phone and then access them from anywhere using your Microsoft Live id. It is part of the Windows Live range of online services. Using SkyDrive you can also share your files with your contacts, or you can make the files public. So, all u need is just a Microsoft Live id to access this service. Publicly shared files do not require a Windows Live ID to access. The service offers 7 GB of free storage for each new user. You can also buy additional space for you.
