Games: Fix Minecraft “bad video card drivers” in Windows 8

Sometimes you could get the Minecraft bad video card drivers error which you have to fix. In most cases updating your driver will fix the error. But if still the problem is not resolved then roll back your video card driver and update it again. Even after doing this if your problem is not fixed then delete the driver and re-install it. In this tutorial, we are showing you how to fix the bad video card driver problem

1. First of all, we will try to update the video card driver. To do that, open the Charms bar by moving your mouse pointer over the right corner of your screen. Alternatively you may press Windows key + C on Start screen to open Charms bar. Then select Search.

2. Next, type ‘control panel’ in the search box and click on the search button. Then click on the Control Panel icon on the left side of the pane.

3. Next, click on the Hardware and Sound.

4. Next, click on the Device Manager.

5. Next, expand Display adapters by clicking on it.

6. Next, rightclick on your display driver and select Update Driver Software. Make sure you have internet connection. Then your display driver will be updated. After this, if your issue is fixed then you can stop here but if the problem is still not resolved. Then go to step-7.

7. Please note, only do this if your problem is still not fixed still step-6. Like we did in Step-6, rightclick on your display driver and select Properties.

8. Next, Click on Yes button. And then your video card driver will be rolled back to the previously installed driver. Then your system will restart. Now the issue must be fixed. If still issue persist, then Uninstall the driver by selecting Uninstall button as shown in Step-7. And then again install the driver. By then the issue must be fixed. If problem still persist then contact your video card manufacturer, there might be some problem in the hardware itself. That are the complete steps to fix minecraft bad video card drivers in Windows 8..
