How to Mout ISO in Windows 8

Why ISO images are more used today?

Nowadays every file is really gigantic in size. In order to store these files storage media of high-capacity is required. Moreover when it comes to any optical media for example CD/DVD, DVDs of huge capacity are required which might sometimes be quite expensive. In order to solve these problems there are several ISO applications which are capable of creating ISO images of any folder that is stored on your computer. If the ISO images are larger than the size of a standard optical media you can mount them directly onto the virtual drives which are automatically created during the installation of these ISO applications.

One ISO application that is mostly used by several people is Ultra ISO, trial version of which can be downloaded from the Internet. As a Windows 8 user if you want to mount any ISO image after downloading and installing Ultra ISO application you are required to follow the steps given below:

1 Logon to Windows 8 computer with administrator account.
2 Download Ultra ISO from its website and install it on your computer. This will automatically create a virtual CD/DVD drive in which ISO images can be mounted.
3 In order to mount any already created ISO image, right click on the image and from the context menu go to UltraISO.
Go to UltraISO Option
4 From the appeared submenu click on Mount to drive X: (where X: can be any available drive letter).
Click Mout to drive E: (As Shown in Picture)
