Stopping the popup blocker on Windows 8’s IE10
1. Open the Desktop by clicking Desktop tile on the Start Screen.
2. Next, click on the Internet Explorer 10 icon on the task bar to open IE 10. If you do not have IE icon on your taskbar then click on the Search and type Internet Explorer in Search box and click on IE icon.
3. Click on Tools icon (Alt+X) on the tool bar. Then click on Internet Options.
4. Next, click on the Privacy tab and then uncheck / untick ‘Turn on Pop-up Blocker’ to disable popup blocker in Internet Explorer 10.Alternatively, if your pop-up blocker is enabled then when you visit site which has popup, then a message will be shown saying pop up is blocked. Click on the message and select view to see the blocked popup. That are the complete steps to disable popup blocker in Internet Explorer 10.
Pop up Blocker is an option in Internet Explorer 10 which lets you block most of the pop-ups that opens up while viewing some web pages. Whenever the Pop up Blocker is turned on, you will see a message saying “Pop-up blocked. To see this pop-up or additional options click here.”, to view the blocked pop up, click on the message and select View. Beside, if you have enabled popup blocker then you will see ‘Settings’ next to the option where you check or uncheck ‘Turn on Pop-up Blocker’ in Privacy tab. In the settings, you can allow popup from specific site by entering their website address (URL).
